 CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) is a globally recognized certification from IIBA for experienced business analysts. It validates advanced knowledge and expertise in business analysis practices.

To apply for CBAP certification exam, you must have:

  • A minimum of 900 hours in 4 out of the 6 BABOK® knowledge areas
  • 35 hours of professional development within the last 4 years
  • Two references (from a manager, client, or CBAP recipient)

 Yes. Upon successful completion, you will receive a certificate for 35 Professional Development (PD) hours, which fulfills the IIBA requirement.

 The CBAP exam consists of 120 multiple-choice questions, based on scenario- and case-based questions, to be completed in 3.5 hours. It is competency-based and aligned with the BABOK® Guide v3.
