Meet Your Mentors

Learn from people who've done the job

Every mentor on this course has spent years doing this work inside real organizations, not just teaching about it.

EV

Elena Vasquez

Cloud Infrastructure Mentor
12+ Years, Multi-Cloud

Twelve years designing and migrating infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and GCP for mid-size and enterprise clients. Elena focuses on teaching the architecture decisions that matter once a system is handling real production traffic, not just passing a lab exercise.

RP

Raj Patel

Cloud & DevOps Mentor
10+ Years, DevOps Lead

Ten years building CI/CD pipelines and container platforms for fast-moving product teams. Raj brings students through the same automation and deployment workflows he runs day to day, rather than a simplified classroom version of them.

HJ

Henrik Johansson

Systems & Network Mentor
14+ Years, IT Infrastructure

Fourteen years managing enterprise network and server environments. Henrik teaches troubleshooting as a structured process, so students can diagnose unfamiliar problems instead of memorizing fixes for familiar ones.

Student Outcomes

Reviews from students who took this course

I went in only knowing AWS. Having Azure explained by someone who actually works with hybrid environments made the differences click fast.

NF
Nora Fitzgerald
Cloud Administrator · Denver, CO
Added Azure to existing cloud skills

The labs were the real deal — an actual portal, not screenshots. I made real mistakes and learned to fix them.

TR
Tobias Reyes
Junior Cloud Engineer · Phoenix, AZ
Hands-on lab confidence

I used this as my on-ramp before the Administrator Associate course, and it made that second course much easier to follow.

SA
Simret Alemu
IT Infrastructure Analyst · Minneapolis, MN
Strong foundation before specializing

Cost management was the part I actually use most at work now, and it barely gets covered anywhere else.

CF
Callum Ferris
Cloud Support Engineer · Glasgow, UK

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Is this different from the Azure Fundamentals or Azure Administrator courses?

Yes. This is a broader on-ramp course covering core services across compute, storage, identity and networking before you specialize. Many students take this first, then move into the Solutions Architect or Administrator Associate track.

Do I need any cloud experience to start?

No. The course starts from the Azure portal basics and builds up gradually. Comfort with general computer administration is helpful but not required.

Will I get hands-on practice inside a real Azure environment?

Yes. Labs run inside real (sandboxed) Azure subscriptions so you are working with the actual portal and CLI tools, not a simulation.

What roles can this course lead to?

Graduates typically move into cloud support, junior cloud administration, or infrastructure analyst roles, and use this course as a stepping stone into more specialized Azure certifications.
